You can have happiness right where you are

Something that has taken me some time to realize is that

  • Friendships
  • Relationships ( dating or marriage)
  • Fitting in or feeling included
  • Using Dating apps
  • The pressure that is felt in trying to form a relationship

Are struggles that autistic or disabled people face and can negatively impact mental health.

Growth is realizing that rushing into a relationship isn’t something that you need to find happiness.

Rushing into something that you want so badly can blind you from the toxicity a relationship may have.

You don’t want a relationship with someone who is abusive , controlling, toxic , and damaging to your mental health.

You need to stick to your values and take the time to achieve your goals and invest in yourself.

Don’t let the wrong person come along and unravel the good things that you have going on in your life.

You , your mental health , and the love you have to give are too precious of a resource to be shared with just anyone.

Slow down!

There are good things in your life. Pets , people, hobbies. Enjoy the things that make you happy.

Don’t let rushing into a relationship with the wrong person ruin the good things in your life and your mental health.

They’re not worth it.

When you have the right relationship with the right person :

You don’t have to post every single part of your relationship on social media.

You don’t have to publicly display your affection.

The right relationship is not a race to get to or a competition of affection.

Have confidence in yourself. Stay true to what you believe and to what you want to achieve.

The right person will see the best in you.
